Spend the day in St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, a picturesque resort town where visitors have come for decades to breathe in the fresh sea air and settle in to a slower pace of life. Perched overlooking the town is Canada’s historic seaside resort, the Algonquin. Built in the 1880's, this resort hotel has a fascinating history and continues to serve as a symbol of East Coast hospitality.

Your tour to St. Andrews includes:

  • A local guide to serve as your host, who will entertain you with historical accounts, fascinating stories, and tall tales of life on the Bay of Fundy
  • A private tour of the award winning Kingsbrae Garden, a magnificent 27-acre public horticultural garden featuring superb collections of over 50,000 perennials, shrubs and trees, followed by lunch overlooking the gardens
  • A guided tour of the Huntsman Marine Science Center, for a glimpse of what goes on beneath the surface of the remarkable Bay of Fundy, including the opportunity to meet two harbour seals, as well as other creatures
  • A tour of Canada's first seaside resort town, where you’ll see historic homes and churches, and have time to stroll around Canada’s historic seaside resort, the Algonquin
  • Time at leisure to explore the town of St. Andrews and browse in the charming shops and boutiques housed in historic buildings along Water Street
